The Selwyn District Council has given approval to lease its land for a pyrolysis plant at the Pines Recovery Park in Burnham, outside Rolleston.
However, the approval is pending a bond being secured by the company planning the plant, Eneform Ltd. It is expected this will happen within the coming months.
